well i got my Q6600. I thought my X2 quite fast, i just finished installing my new Q6600 and OMG, im shocked, i so cant beleave how quick it is, got it running at 3.2 GHz and runs really well.

its too bad core i7 will be out within the next year (maximum) and that will support 8 software threads... 4 cores with multi-threading (like hyperthreading)..
thats a lot of processing power
its a good upgrade for the motherboard though, that's why i bought one lol
Let me tell you from experience to definitely go with the Q6600. It can be easily overclocked up to and past the Q6700's stock settings. And my Q6700 so far has seemed to be a bum overclocker, stuck on 3.0 GHz with this damn thing
