I have an omnibook 6000. The battery no longer holds a charge so I have to plug it in every time. The lights on the front flicker on when I first plug it in, then they turn off. When I turn on the pc, it only stays on for a few seconds and turns back off. Does this sound like a power supply prob or the ac plug on the back. It does seem to be a bit loose. However I have tried to hold the plug firmly in many differant direction with no change. Any idea's?

It's probably a dead motherboard. Thats usually the case when the lights do that and it only powers on for a second or two.
