On board sound card

How can I deactivate my on board sound card from the bios?

There should be an option in one of the pages, or you can disabled it from within Windows.

why do you wanna deactivate it? does it make too much of a difference?
i mean i did hear someone telling me that on board sound card gives the stress on the cpu by 2%, w/e..

maybe he got a new sound card and the onboard is conflicting with the new one
