On DVD & PSP...?

I'm just wondering, is the PSP actually doing that well? I mean I have absolutely no desire for one, nor any need for one. However, many recent movies comming out on DVD also say PSP, and I will assume that means the Sony PSP.

In all honesty, I didn't think it would do well. I mean I didn't think it would be another Game.Com or anything. I just figured it was way too overpriced(at least now) to really sell. I guess I was wrong...?

I thought the same thing, I wouldn't think that people would actually support a cd format that works on one single console. There are hundreds of DVD players but there is only 1 PSP and it is way much more than a DVD player. I guess Sony is just that good when it comes to marketing their product...

I got a PSP the day after thanksgiving ... and I like it. You have to buy the package with the 1GB stick. Its only $50 more but well worth it. So far I've only played Madden06 and it's nice. They have a atv game I demo'd and it was cool.

I think all the accessories they sell aren't needed. I would not buy any of the retail PSP movies. Just download, rent or buy the regular dvd and convert it to a PSP format. If you do movie only and compress it to around 700MB the quality is good (at least IMO) ... but that does mean only one movie at a time.

700mb???? That doesnt make any sense. The psp screen is only 380x240(or close) I compress my videos to about 300mb-400mb and the quality is perfect. The psp is also pretty fun. Good graphics, awesome for trips. You can surf the internet, look at photos, listen to music, whatch videos, and play games! I like mine a lot but i got it as a gift, so i am not to sure how worth the price it is.
