I have a question about my motherboard that I want to buy.

well, the mobo im looking at has onboard GeForce 6100 GFX. Im planning to put a 8800 GTS. If I put the card in, will the onboard graphics automatically disable itself?

If not, what do I have to do?

and help is appreciated :D

If you're worried about it you can always check the device manager, and uninstall the integrated one if it is installed from some reason.

You can set the primary graphics adapter in BIOS to PCI-E instead of onboard right now, so you don't have to worry about tinkering with the settings when you get&install your card. If the primary graphics adapter is set to PCI-E but there's no card in the PCI-E slot, it'll simply activate the onboard.

Usually that's how a mobo should be setup anyways.
