Hello
I have AMD ahtlon with 512 MB RAM but my pc show that i have 448MB. That means I have 64 MB video card but i also have 256 MB nvidia GEforce 6100 graphic card.
- Why my computer is using that 64MB if i have nvidia graphic card.
-Also when i go to bios in Nvigpbridge/geforce chipset configuration i have these options
VGA option------------------[AUTO/Enable]
Primary Graphic Adapter-----[PCI/PCIE/IGP]/[IGP/PCIE/PCI]Which order should i select here
nChip VGA Buffer size-------[Disable/16MB/64MB/128MB]When i disable it nothing gets displayed on my monitor when i reboot(will selecting 16MB has any affect on my display).
It shows that selecting AUTO will disable onboard VGA if external and ENABLE will enable onboard VGA and this should be selected only when nvidia external vga card was installed.
-Do I have external video card or it is inbuilt in motherboard only. I am confused please help me to know what configuration i am using

What should i do to have full 512 MB of RAM.

Thank You

If it is onboard then why there is no option to set its memory to 256MB because geforce6100 showed that it is 256MB when i checked in its properties.
If it is onboard does that mean it will use my RAM for its functions. To improve the graphic properties do i have to sacrifce the speed?
