I know I have been asking alot of questions because of this motherboard and because of the same problem. I am starting to feel stupid but well, I will still ask. I think I do not have all the necessary hardware hooked up to the motherbaord, because of the problem I have with the MoBo. Is there an easy way to find out what is not connected right. I opened the case and made sure everything was connected but I still have a bunch problems, especially during my bootup, I don't know as you can see I am really confused right now. PLEASE HELP.

well, it does not beep, what happens is that it goes past the bios screen through the drive tests, then it freezes up. I have now reformated and reinstalled xp the third time, so I know it has nothing to do with OS. My sig will tell you everything about the computer, that I know.

Sometimes it's hard to replace Mobos on Dells because their power supply connections are different, so if it's still under warranty send it back. Otherwise, it could be many things. Maybe overheating problems or power supply problems.

well, it is not the powersupply, because I replaced that and the whole entire case, ironically this was the reason I even bought the motherboard. I also have have plenty of fans running with a temperature fo 45 degres, so it has nothing to do with that either. I really don't know what to do anymore, HELP!!!!!

you can redo all your connections starting from the PSU to the last hardware, just attach the neccessary hardware(HDD,CDDRIVES,etc.)

not beeping usually means a post failure, or it could mean you have no pc speaker. check the power connections

Ok, you all. I found the problem and I feel really stupid. During my whole bios exxperience (it was my first time in a full version of bios) I set the boot sequence to boot up the floppy and the cd-rw I forgot to tell the computer to boot up the HD. How stupid is that, I reformated the hard thre times, pulled all the cables and reconnected them like five times just to find out I did a mistake in the bios settings. Well anyhow, thank you all for the help, I really appreciate it.
