Online TV

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if there was online pay TV. I am in the military and moved to Germany, the TV here really sucks. I was wondering if there was some pay TV service that I could stream to my computer than use a HDMI cable to go to my tv. I don't mind paying for the service eaither.

Your best shot might be something like netflix. you can buy a movie or for 8.00 a month have unlimited. My self i have the option to watch either or on the tv or the internet. For sure you could try. first month free and try or buy one. The problem could be an issue because of the location.
Im curious let us know.

I'm sure you will find that national online TV services are not available anywhere else in the World. Restricted by having a non-national IP address. Doesn't the military have local services of non-military stations?

I suppose one way round the issue is to have a PC receiving your TV in the home country and relaying via Skype or VPN. The time difference could be awkward.
