only 3.25 available

Sorry, me being stupid. Didnt realise 32bit only recognised 3.25 GB of RAM. I guess il have to change to 64 Bit.

Wouldn't worry about it. I ran 32bit with XP Pro and 4 gig of ram. It seen 3.5 then installed 64bit windows 7 and now it see's 4 gig. Don't see no diff in performance. Unless your thinking about adding even more ram like for gaming.

I wont be adding any more. 4GB is the max my motherboard can support. I guess il leave it for now. It just took me by suprise because my gaming computer which also runs 4GB of RAM is on 32 bit, although i cant really see much of a performance difference when i was running that on 64 bit (changed to 32 because of compatibility issues).
Thanks for the help.

if u plan on using 64-bit, you dont need to buy it again, im almost 100% positive you can use a 32 bit key with a 64-bit cd of the same version of windows.

Doesn't hurt to try, and in the event that it doesn't, ring up MS and explain, they should be fine in issuing you another key or activating the machine.
