Open box mobos

I was planning on getting this mobo.

What I want to know is it risky buying a used mobo from newegg?

Edit: Another question. Is it possible to crossfire onboard graphics and pcie graphics card?

It's not a used mobo. You just won't get any discs, cables or IO shields. You know like it might have been taken out of the box and put in a window display...

I think that board can do hybrid crossfire.

I can care less about the cables and disk. Only thing I need is the mobo and IO shield. I hope shooting a email to Asus will get me the IO shield.

when i bought open boxed from biostar, i had to buy my I/O shield, it was like 7 bucks...
