Open Office - Impress - Merge

I have a previously constructed Impress (Open Office PowerPoint equivalent) file containing about 20 "slides". I have been sent another Impress file which is smaller with only three slides on it. How can I merge the small file's three slides into the larger presentation which will then contain the previous 20 slides with the three extra ones on the end? I do not wish to copy/paste the new slides as they contain multiple object moves which may be lost.

Thanks for any help.

Can you just right click on the slide and copy it?
You are right!!

After many tests of selecting slides in one presentation document (using conventional Windows selection for slides) and pasting into another presentation your "right click copy/paste" technique works - and, importantly, retains all my object moves in the pasted slides.

As, for some reason "Ctrl C / Ctrl V" caused problems when I used it, I assumed all copy/paste methods would cause errors - hence me thinking along the lines of merging. However the right click copy/paste you suggested works fine. :)

Thank you for your help.
