Open Office

Hey, I've been having difficulty tranporting Open Office Base documents to Microsoft Access and vice versa. I also want to use Open Office Base in Visual Basic when I start using database in my class.

I have switched to Open Source lately (although still using Windows) and I'd like to keep it that way, Microsoft Office is over priced, as is almost everthing else (Photoshop, Autocad, etc).

Any help would be appreciated.

i don't think it's possible, i don't use Oo maybe someone else might help, but referring to visual basic, access is the way to go, yes that price but you don't have much choice
