Open source or free DVD CD copy software

Does anyone know a good open source or free dvd copy software? Something that is lightweight, and doesn't use much resources. I have other programs like nero and the like but since my computer is slow I want something that doesn't take up as much power to use.
Also I want to try out some free or open source dvd cd copy software in general. Any recommendations?

For all OS's but does need net framework installed.

I suppose that software is programmed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or maybe even in 2008 if its the newest version. He will probably need .NET framework version 2.0 at least or even 3.5 with SP1...

If your looking for a basic one for burning DVD's and CD's you could try the built in version on your operating system.

If its Windows XP then he can use that but it will work only with CDs.If its Vista or higher then it will work for CDs and DVDs too.
Too bad Windows XP doesn't have that for DVDs too :/
Well...that OS IS about 8 years old after all xD

Missed that bit out, thank you STARS. I normally use the vista built in version for just basic burning and then a more advanced program such as AVS for boot-disks, dvd's etc.
