Hello Everyone

Can someone out there tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Iv'e just downloaded and installed Open Office 4.1.11 on my desktop computer, operating on Windows 10, but for some reason the shortcut icon on the desktop is not correct.
Can someone tell me how I can change it, please see the pictures of what is appearing on my desktop as indicated in blueOpenoffice 2.jpg.

If I click open the desktop image I get thisOpenoffice 1.jpg

Thanks to anyone who can help

I just downloaded it and the correct icon showed up. However, you can try right clicking on that icon on your desktop and click on properties, then click on change icon and see if its actually in there somewhere. Also, where did you download it from? I got it here.

John35 I’ve just done as you suggested right clicking the desktop icon and then properties and sure enough, I found the icon there and it worked a treat.
I’d been clicking the start button and going into settings thinking I would be able to change it that way.

Beers I still don’t know why it downloaded the way it did, you asked where I downloaded it from, I’m not sure if I have this correct.
I’ve clicked Tools, Downloads and then says Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.11_Win_x86_install_en-GB.exe 129MB-souceforge.net.

Would sourceforge.net be where I’ve downloaded it from????

Thanks for your help guys.
