I'm thinking of buying this motherboard would it be a good buy to make.
JetWay J939GT4-SLI-G ATX AMD Motherboard
Any comments or suggestions would be helpful thank you. Dan
 
I have never heard of JetWay. I usually only use mainstream parts I can find at more than 3 reputable websites (ebuyer.com, newegg.com/ca, tigerdirect.com/ca, scan.co.uk etc). I wouldn't say not to buy it, but try and read some reviews from customers, not companies, and if possible, try and find someone else that has it.

JetWay? Step away. Low reviews, unknown brand, ect...

Stick with more known ones, such as Gigabyte, ASUS, DFI, ect...
 
Jetway??? :confused: never heard of them before, go with Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, some well known brands. Just have a look at the reviews of the motherboard.

Find the motherboard on newegg.com and have a look at the reviews on there.
 
Jetway has been around a long time. I would stay away from them. I put them in the catagory as Asrock/PCchips

Thank you for the info. I have a E-machine T6532 is there any motherboard you could name specifically that would go with this desktop.
It has a ms-7207 ver. 2.0 so i can match up the one that's in there.

Can you get boards for nVidia SLi with AMD processors then? I didn't think they made those.

A board that can take 4870X2 XFire with a QX9850 would be nice. The best of both worlds at the moment (seeing as 4870X2 X2 is much cheaper than GTX280 TriSLi).
 
I have a AMD Athlon 3500+ 2.2gHz and a Geforce 6100 GPU integrated. Can you post the link for the boards from Newegg thanks.

I also have a old ATI Radeon 96000 XT 128mb video card. The boards you talk about do or don't come with a processor. I would like it to come with the processor thank you. Dan

No boards dont come with processors, but I guess you can get combo deals that include both.

I have a JetWay nVidia 7600 it works perfectly, nothing wrong with it, just too low to play any of the good games I want :P

And I have a PCChips that works fine. It stinks at overclocking though :P

Either way, I would stay away from Jetway, PCChips, ECS, or any other "Cheapo" brand.
