Okay, I recently received a Epox EP-8RDA+ motherboard, AMD Athlon CPU, 1GB Corsair RAM, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card, 1 Seagate 120GB hard drive and a 10GB Maxtor hard drive along with some fans and a dvd burner. Oh, and I have a Antec case with a 460-watt PSU.

Well, some of you may recall the problem I had with the Epox board. I am just going to buy a brand new board and CPU.

I was thinking of the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe board matched with the AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1GHz CPU from newegg. Here are the links....

Any opinions on this pair of hardware?

I've seen that many people use the A8N so it is probably good. the Athlon 64 3000+ Venice is one of the best CPUs you can get for the money.
