I designed this computer for a friend and he bought all the parts. I havent assembled it yet, but i was just wondering if this was a pretty good gaming setup?

EPoX EP-9NPA+ SLi Motherboard
Kingston Hyper X DDR400 PC3200 1Gig(2-2-2-5)
ATI Radeon X1800XT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card
AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Processor
LITE-ON Black IDE 16x DVD Burner
Western Digital Caviar 250GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 16meg cache Hard Drive
XBlade Black/Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W Power Supply
Logitech 2-Tone PS/2 RF Wireless Slim Keyboard Mouse

1. System is a bit unbalanced on the CPU side (should be running dualcore) and RAM (should go for dual channel config)
2. Id avoid LiteOn burners for the time being ... they're ok... but that's just it ... they're "ok", nothing special. NEC/Pioneer drives give you more value for your dollar :)

It is a dual channel ram setup.

2 sticks of 512 or 2 sticks of 1GB, either way your good.
setup looks nice, yea maybe dualcore would be better.
RAM is nice, same as gfx card.
