im debating between a opteron 175 and a x2 4800. im a gamer gamer gamer so... yeah. the price differnece is about 110 or something liekt hat so its not a HUGE difference when your spending this type of money. what are your opinions? what will run faster and what will be more ideal for games? im leaning more towards the x24800 because i have heard some wonderful things about them.

just get one if you have the money, soon the socket will be outdated (and when i say soon i mean probably less than a year)
orrrr... you could wait for the new AMD socket to come out, supposedly having 940pins... but they cant take the name "940 pin socket" ive heard its called AM2 and ive heard its called M2...
ehh either way, either get a proc for your 939 or wait till the new socket comes out.

yea the X2 4800+ is insane. but i beleive the opterons are much better overclockers.
