Optical drive problems.

It seems that whenever I put in a disc with info like pictures or video on it, both of my drives won't even start reading it. And when I go to My computer and right click on one of the drives, any program I have running will be unresponsive, until I eject the disc. I can insert a game disc and it will work fine. I can put in a burned music disc, and it will work fine. It's just when I try to look at pictures or videos I burned with these drives. I searched for new drivers for both, and didn't find any, and I uninstalled them both and restarted, and they were re-installed automaticly. This didn't help anything. Please help. I have had this problem before and took my PC to a store to get it looked at, and they couldn't find anything wrong with it, so i bought a new drive. That was 2 years ago and I am having the problem again. So it's not the drives. I think. Please help.

Something similar happend to me before, with my Samsung DVD-RW drive. What you can try to do is use a different program to burn the videos, or you can test the burned media on another computer/drive.
