hello,

I have a gateway M675. I was wondering how i can optimize memory use. to paint a better picture, i'm a big world of warcraft player. i'm wondering what i can do to get better performance so that my gameplay doesn't lag as much. i understand that internet connection/bandwith is most of the issue, but usually i'm playing around 1am in the morning when my neighborhood is asleep and no one is on. my buddy thinks i should just reformat. any suggestions?

Experiment with Fast Defrag Pro

Hi Mate, I am not a die hard gamer but i use fast defrag. It's good for defragmenting ur RAm. giv it a try. but i think it will bug u while playing big games.......:) hope that helps

I know a someone who plays WoW and it's laggy at their place too, it was due to the internet connection. Although it was cable (supposedly faster than DSL), for some reason it was very slow. I then took his computer to my place where the cable connection is very high and it played extremely smooth. He brought it over so I can fiddle with it- hoping I make it faster. After seeing it run smooth, there was nothing I could/should do... So could it just be the internet connection bogging you down?
