Order of operations for install?

Hi,

This may seem like a dumb question, but its best that I find out the correct way.

I want to do a full install of XP Home and I also have a CD for my motherboard bios. Which one do I want to run first? Also, will inserting the windows CD perform a full erasing of my HD so I can start fresh, or is there another step that needs to be done?

ok heres how you do it insert your xp home cd make sure that your bios is set to boot off of the cd rom and boot up your computer with the xp cd in and then it will ask you to press anykey to boot off of your cd drive (if its setup right if not we can help you with that to) and then just delete your old partion (only if you don't want anything thats on your hard drive and then just do what it tells you to and then install your motherboard drivers and everything else after you install your xp
