Ordered a intel Core 2 Duo processor w/ my new computer and got viiv?

Is it the same thing? I ordered a brand new computer from Dell, and ordered a intel core 2 duo processor. But the logo on the outside of the tower says intel viiv.

Moved to CPUs.

VIIV is a home theatre moniker, it can be paired with a Core 2 Duo. Check your system properties if you want to be sure (right click on My Computer->properties). On the general tab it will say what the CPU is.
