So my main thought is get higher quality parts now as in MOBO, GPU and sacrifice some on the cpu and just upgrade it when i need too or in like 2-3 years w/e happens first to one of the newer AM+3 chipsets since i hear the gpu is most important part of a gaming computer and the mobo is one of the main parts of the computer i wanted to get good ones of those now.

Im considering changing the mobo to a sabertooth is about 40 bucks more does anyone recommend this or is the one i have good?

Im planning on using this mostly for gaming and normal internet web browsing and facebook youtube netflix type stuff.

Anything i should change please let me know some choice i made are for color going for a black and red amd theme

I would spend more money on the case and get an NZXT Phantom 410 or the full tower Phantom if you can afford it. The Storm Scout is old and has no cable management features. Kinda rubbish IMO.

Otherwise, all great stuff! No need for the Sabertooth board.

Do not get a Sabertooth, one of the worst price to performance boards out there. And just don't get Asus, get a Gigabyte UD3 990FXA (it will match in with the red and black theme much better, and it's a much better board in general). Get A FX 8320, it's only 20 dollars more then the FX 6300. Get a MSI or Sapphire 7870, not Asus.

Edit: Yes, a Phantom 410 is a much better case, and you can get it in red. If you get a Phantom 810 you better have a LOT of room on your desk (or floor).

Really there's nothing wrong at all with ASUS or the motherboard he chose. The extra money would be better spent on a better case than it would a slightly more powerful CPU.

Not had a problem with any ASUS products and owned a fair few now.

Just change the case to a Phantom 410 and then go for it. :good:

The UD3 990FXA costs LESS and is a better board. And, the OP is talking about upgrading the CPU soon, wouldn't it be better to save the op the trouble of selling his then spending $50 more instead of $20 more?

Eh fair points. ASUS is fine though, no need for all the hate.

The case is still not great though and in need of changing.

Not hating on Asus, the board is reasonable, but it's blue and black, op wants red and black, and it has less features then the UD3.
