What type of fans should i be looking at for the optional 120mm fans for the antec 1200 case. I think 25mm thick for the side is right, but should i be getting something bigger/more powerful for the other?

Is there anything else I need to make this build happen(already have thermal compound and electrostatic bracelet)???

THANKS!!!

I would recommend you get a SATA CD/DVD drive and not IDE. The IDE is a big clumsy cable inside your computer.

Wow I think that's a perfect build! It even looks close to the one I want to build dude (hehe :)). Nice job and like ScOuT said get SATA not IDE there is a video of a tutorial that says IDE is better but that was back in 2008.

thanks for that - I switched it out for a sata drive.

I also got rid of the zalman and ordered the megahalems.

Cant wait to get it all and build it next weekend!

Possibly gpu:

Performance is basically on par with a GTX275, and once overclocked a GTX285.

Perhaps mobo:

CPU Cooler, the current zalman coolers arent that great, especially on a quadcore i7. you could do better with one of the following:

or (best air cooler on the market currently)
