Origo ADSL modem/router fun

hi guys

for a start - i dont have a clue about this stuff!

ive been very pleased with my Origo router, and it has been working perfectly, until i tried to change some settings to allow a laptop to use a VPN through it.

i beleived that the 2 networks were living on the same IP adress's - 10.0.0.x, and this way why they werent connecting - so i thought "well simple enough - ill change it at this end to 192.168.150.x and see what happens.

So i went into the advanced settings, changed IP adress from 10.0.0.2 to 192.168.150.0, and changed the DHCP settings to assign between 192.168.150.4 to 192.198.150.15

then saved settings to flash and rebooted the router.

the router stopped responding - the advanced setup page crashed, and when i stick 192.168.150.0 into a browser it wont connect.

I tried 10.0.0.2 as well and no such luck.

The official Origo program seem to think there is no LAN connection. Windows thinks it has a LAN connection - i can see it loosing it when i switch the router off - but no internet!

This is a wireless router, but this paticular PC (my main PC) is plugged in via ethernet.

I would appreciate ny suggestions - i know ive probably done something stupid! i would LIKE to reset the router to factory settings and start again - but i cant - because i cant talk to it!

While typing this, i have just thought. I MIGHT have set up my windows 2000 PC to run on static IP, as 10.0.0.7. ill check up on that!

thanks

Ben
