Sorry to be "that guy" but I have searched and searched with every word and phrase I can think of at one in the morning. I'm putting together my new rig and I cant remember which order to install os and drivers. yes, really dumb I know I just want to be 100% sure. Thanks for the help

There really isn't any order. Just install the OS and one driver at a time. Just make sure you download all the drivers a head of time. I use a USB stick.

^ pretty much that.

Even if you just have a NIC driver via Windows or manually installed, Windows Update will install generic drivers for the vast majority of components in case you forget one.

There isn't a right and wrong way generally, however I personally make sure I have my network driver installed first. Sometimes you need to download this from another PC or use the CD included with the motherboard if your computer doesn't detect it right away. I will then install the video drivers second, because many video cards force you to a low resolution display on the generic driver.

Even though they are older drivers but generally work without issues, you can always use the motherboard cd to install all available drivers at once and not worry about it.
