Hey everyone... im new here and i hope someone can help me out with this.
My question is:
Is it a would idea to load an OS (any) with all of its components if you can spare the disk space?
Like load all drivers that the OS supports for all peripherals?
Im looking for a technical response.

Thank you :D

Do you mean load all the drivers on the OS disk, or install them all onto the hard drive after installing the OS?

i mean loading all the drivers on the OS disk. considering that space is not an issue..

Well when you install the OS windows is going to install generic drivers if you want it to or not. But if you mean after installing the OS to update all your drivers then yes, thats a good idea.

I'm not sure how you are planning on doing that, as the OS CD/DVD is right protected and you can not put data onto it. Or are you talking about creating your own OS disc by slipstreaming the drivers into the installation itself?
