Hey guys so I'm about to buy a new desktop but it doesn't come with any operating system, so I was wondering if I bought a OEM version, would it work if i installed it onto the blank hard drive? Cheers.
Yes it would work, Also make Sure that you Can go online to the manufacturer site and are able to get all the drivers for that computer, such as the Video card, the Ethernet, chip set and audio before buying it so you are not stuck.
it should work make sure you check the specs against the minimum requirements for the OS you are installing first that would be the only place you would have trouble
