OS Install and Partiton Questions

So a few questions, I want to Partition a 80gig drive, one for the OS (xp pro) and one for everything else. I need to know how big i should make the partition for the OS. I also need to know What kind of partion for the everything else (Primary, extended or logical drive)
 
Primary for OS (mine is 20 GB and sometimes rarely it gets full) but i think 20 GB is OK
Extended for the rest of the space then create a Logical drive for it. or as many logical drives as you want and they all together are called extended.
 
i have my 300gb split with 100 for the os (xp x64) and 200 for files. If I had mine set at 20gb I would have to keep moving the files onto the second partition all the time. Make it slightly bigger if your a downloader.
