for system compatibility and Windows server
such as :ntdetect.com , command.com,boot.ini and so on.
i've installed windows XP on drive c: successfuly and it runs truely now but
when i choose my Windows Server at system startup menu it causes to appear a black screen
without any Error/notice Message and it remains until i press Restart Burron.
i check boot.ini file but it's correct as before ! please help me ...
i have important files and programs on my Windows Server and don't want to lose them

Just wondering, but how come you went deleting the winows files of 98 just to install XP? I would have just installed XP over it, or formatted the drive first. It sounds like you may have deleted a file for Server 2003. If you still have the disk, you should be able to do a repair install, and hopefuly that would take care of the issue.
