OS upgrade

hey peeps, long time no see.
Hope all is good around here.

ok as I type this i'm on an iMac g5 1.5ghz - Power PC
I'm just thinking, is there any posibility of updating this ? like to Tiger or at least Leopard ?

the thing is running panther 10.3.9.

so mep, won't you have any idea about the upgrade ? the drive is only 80GB, I don't mind though as long as I can get Tiger or leopard on there am good. because fro, my google skills, there's not much software for Panther :(

I'm not really liking Panther, it's running the old safari and there isn't any update for it :(
 
Tiger for sure, Leopard may be pushing it. I think Leopard's minimum requirements were G4 processor 1Ghz and 512mb of RAM, but those are minimum requirements.

You could actually probably run Leopard since the minimum requirements are 1Ghz and 512 RAM, but if your video card isn't quartz extreme supported you may get some performance issues with the flashy GUI stuff.
