Hi,
I need to move my files and apps from my current Macbook, to my new one. In terms of applications, can i just drag them from the finder to an external drive, and drag them back on the new mac?

For example, Toast Titanium, Aperture, Final Cut, etc?

Hello,

Transfering application or games or any installed files just by copy/pasting them can be very problematic and most will not function properly or at all. Migrating files with Setup Assistant or Migration Assistant maybe a better choice.
