OSx 86 falling in love

I only have two PCs at home now, 1 windows machine I use for gaming and one Linux box I use for multimedia and file storage, then after that I have 3 Mac desktops and a Macbook pro. I have a HP laptop as well I guess if you want to count that.
 
lol, my sister complained cause i made her buy an Ipod nano for me, what if i told her too buy me a Macbook ? she'd probably go bankrupt!!!
 
Well....I didn't pay full price for any of them. My work pays for my laptop and the desktops I bought used at really good prices. When you work in my field and you do side work for companies that get new equipment every 2 years you can buy some of their old stuff real cheap. I have a G4 dual 500, a G4 MDD, and a G5 dual 2.5, all I bought used from clients that were going to get rid of them.

Check out college and business auctions you can get all kinds of crazy deals. I paid 40 bucks for that dual 500 G4, which is probably worth at least 200 off of ebay.

Dude, you can afford 40 bucks. Like I said check out business and college auctions. When they get rid of their stuff they auction it off. A lot of times they pull out the HDs so there is no chance of you getting the data on it, but you can buy HDs cheap.

haha tlarkin you do know where i live right ? if so, we don't have macs here, never will
 
do you visit any other country or have friends in other countries they can always check for you and ship it. On the mac forum there is a quite a user base from Thailand, and they do it that way.

yah i have family overboard, my aunt and my Sis. friends, nah.
hehe you mentioned thailand ? probably they are the fakest and most un-original country ever.
My cousin bought a so called IPOD there, and guess what it wasn't even an Ipod, just an mp3 player 1gb, only the over looks like ipod :P:P

No, they do not buy things in Thailand, they buy them from the US or the UK and have it shipped. These are non natives who have retired in Thailand.
