outlook 2003

Hello

today i installed microsoft office 2003 and then started to play with it, all was going well until i tried outlook. it put up this screen with an msn.com address in it, then asked for a password. i tried all my usally passwords and couldn't get anywhere, there was no help buttons or anything.

does anybody know what this box is about and how i deal with it please

Do you really need to use outlook? There are lots of free alternatives.

it's not so much the wanting to use it as solve this problem!!!

Have you created an account, so Outlook knows where to get messages from. If you have, have a look at your settings and double-check your mail information.
If you haven't created an account yet then that is the problem. Outlook is asking for a password that you never specified or provided.

talking about outlook express and mail accounts (hotmail) do you have to subscribe to hotmail (pay a subscription fee) in order to use hotmail in outlook express now?
