outlook 2010- try to delete emails, it comes up with a 'save as' option instead

we have recently migrated to windows 7 and installed office 2010, outlook seems to be working strange after that as whenver users try to delete emails, it comes up with a 'save as' option instead. what seems to be the problem as i couldnt find anything on google

The problem you are relating to about outlook2010 normally happens due to profile issues. I would suggest you to try doing a few steps:

1. When you go to MS office look for Microsoft office 2010 tools>select Microsoft office upload 2010 upload center and you need to upload the office software from there.
2. Once uploading is done close all the programs opened and restart the computer.
3. Now try to open outlook and try deleting the emails.
4. Another option is to run scanpst, this will repair any corruptions on the outlook software.
5. If all these options doesn’t work out, try to recreate the profile .make sure you delete the old profile first, this will not delete any of your emails.
