Outlook and Winmail.dat :(

Hi There,

There is a big problem with one of our clients, they have a SBS2008 server running with all patches, when they get an email sent to them in plain text with an attchment of say a PDF they get a attchment winmail.dat, is there a fix to this. if we get the other end to send as a HTML file it works fine

All email should be sent as html unless there is an issue on the receiving end.

some people can email them in plain text with the attchment and it will work fine, its like exchange is not reading the emails that get stripped
