Hi everyone thank you for the add

1. My problem is I purchased a new windows 7 desktop and put my old XP downstairs and it was working good now my problem, they transferred my email and Itunes to my new computer and found out windows 7 doesn't support Outlook Express 6 so I now have Windows Live mail (I don't like it at all) but all my incoming emails go directly to my old computer and I don't always see it on my new computer.
I was on it (old one) yesterday and there was 3 emails that I did not receive on the live emails, and when I opened it up there was 32 emails that were not open yet but on windows live there were no new emails..How can I stop this from happening and also only 5 email contact addresses got transferred over yet I have about 30 addresses in the outlook express..

2. Is there anyway I can change the layout for folders in Windows Live I have personal folders that I keep emails in and when I click on them it opens to look like envelopes and I can't tell what is inside of them anyway to fix that.

3. It has also associated itself with my Hotmail account and now when you check your windows live account your Hotmail account is right there for all to see..

Thank you in advance I hope I didn't confuse anyone

What do you use for email service? Both PC's should be configured as IMAP, otherwise if it's configured as POP it will download your messages locally to whichever computer downloaded them and they'll be removed from the email server.

If you don't like Windows Live Mail (I don't), you could always use Thunderbird.

Thank you Voyagerfan99 for your reply my main email is Outlook express and I am used to this one and all my bills are emailed to this account so I really dont want to change it but I want ALL my emails fro Outlook to go to the Windows 7 computer and not the XP computer so what you are saying is I have to change my POP to my IMAG and can I do this on my own or should I contact my server as Im not that comp literate
thank you again for the fast reply
