outlook express

hi again havent a clue,stuck on this for days. when i open outlook express i get illegle operation [ msnmsgr] and it causes my pc to freeze when trying to shut down after trying to open outlook express. I run 98se, ive downloaded lateley, spybot search and destroy, adware se personal and bazooka scanner,havent done nothing with bazooka apart from run a test,havent followed it up yet . I was woundring should i try to download Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 but dont know if that comes with outlook express and from, http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&displaylang=en . or try to find outlook express and download. thanks for any help doj

1. get the IE6 SP1
2. CHeck for all the Outlook Express fixes (theres a bunch)
3. Disable/uninstall messenger

If your getting sick of Outlook Express, and want to try something new, try Mozilla Thunderbird, (FREE) and it has AWSOME spam filters, and it' really worth a try:
http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/ (it import all your outlook express files too)

hey thanks, ill have a look. worked it out anyway i unistalled msn and reistalled and great worked fine,still dont know if its the best thing to do. there just so many things to learn about a [pc], just dont know where to start somtimes lol . take care and thanks ill check them out as they might come in handy. lol doj

Hi I'm new to this forum . I have a silly question. Is it possible to open your Outlook from a different computer? For instance I have outlook at work and outlook on my computer at home. Is ther any way to configure it so that i'm able to open my work emails in the event that I'm home sick?

Yeah, Create a new account in Outlook on the computer you want to check the other Emails from.

In the account you'll need to put all the information to do with the other account, like the Email address and passwords.
