does anyone know how you create a new address in outlook express
some how my original 1 has got corrupted due i think to reinstalling windows

You can't create accounts in Outlook Express per se, you can only configure it to work with your email accounts (like the ones you get from your ISP).

To do this, go to Tools -> Accounts -> Add -> Mail. Go through the wizard putting in the details as required.

You should have backed up your address book before re-installing. Your old address book is gone for sure.
