Do you just have a single profile?
Put your copied .pst file from the old machine somewhere safe on the new machine. You can rename it as long as you keep the .pst.
Do a fresh install of outlook on the new machine.
Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\Martin\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Change the file that is located there from outlook.pst to outlook.old or something similar.
Then move the file you have stored safely on your machine into this folder. You can call it outlook.pst if you wish, and outlook should then launch with no error.
If you have called it something different, when you launch outlook, it will show the error you gave above. Simply say "ok", and navigate to the new .pst file. Outlook will then use this as the default.
