OutLook, Message alert preview

Hello all,
I was working with MS OUtlook 2007 and all were good, recently, when i got a new message I can't see the desktop alert (I'd 3 email accounts in my outlook client)

did you check in
Tools->options->email options->advance email options->desktop alert.
try toggling it on and off, and reboot, send an email to yourself and see what happens
