Hello all
Well I am using outlook recently, so someone has told me that I have to click Send/Receive every few minutes?
so from what to what should I click it?
thanks

Im not sure if i get the issue here. Theres no point of clicking send/recieve all the time. You click send, to send mail, and if you recieve mail you open it, well well. To send mail you only need to press send once. The mail will be put in another folder and sent asap. Thats about it.

and what is the function of the sen/receive button

there is an old saying... it goes something like this: kill two birds with one stone

Anyway, you can automatically have outlook send/receive after a designated period of time.

If your on dialup you wont want the mail to send and rec every 30 sec... So then you would set it to 10 min? What if you wanted a mail you knew would be there in 30 sec?

..I just told you. I will be more specific:

In Outlook: Tools> Options. Select the Mail Setup tab. Click on the button "Send/Receive..."

You should be able to take it from there....
