Hello I been reading threw the over clocking posts here and need a little more info. I live in salt lake city . The guys at PC club said this was some of the best stuff I could get. I been trying to find a stable over clock but the info I have to do so is limited. So far my AMD 3500 + Winchester is at 2.47 GHz FBS is 224 MHz my ram is sitting at PC 3600. If I go any higher my games are unstable. So my question is, is there any other way to get higher and keep gaming stable or should I not worry about it ? CPU temp is holding at 45C normal and 55 c hard gaming. Memory is benching at READ 6223 MB/s - write 2510 MB/s - Latency 3-4-3-8 / 48.1 ns . IS there anything else i can do to go higher? Or is this max ?

AMD 64 3500 + siting at 2.47 GHz FBS 224
Corsair DDR400 (CMX512-3200) siting at pc 3600
GA-K8NS Ultra 939 mother board Nforce 3 chip set
Antec true blue 480W PSU
Zalman 7000-CU cooler
256MB verto 6800GT DDR3 siting at core 401 MHz memory 1.10 GHz

thanks

I had to change the memory timings to 2.5 3 3 8 and a jumped the FBS to 238 its siting at 2.62 Ghz now and stable had to tweek my cooling a little to handle it . looks like temps are 46c no load 57c hard gaming. first time i tried gaming it was 79 c lol so i had to get it cooled fast working good now.

Thanks again for the help. I have a friend wanting to over clock his 3000+ ill send him here. Here is what i ended up with all said and done.

AMD 64 3500+ over clocked to 4100+ 2.62 GHz with FSB at 238 ram is over clocked to pc 3800.

I’m benching memory speeds twice or 3 times that of my Pentium 4 3.2 E and it was over clocked to 3.9 GHz.

here is basically what I did I hope it helps others

HT ratio is at x4 was 5x This was the Key to getting past FSB of 225 .
Vcore is 1.65
HT volts is maxed at +3
ram volts is maxed at +2
AGP volts is Maxed at +3
ram timings are 2.5 3 3 8 with other timing changes to read to write and write to read are now at 2 each
geforce 6800 GT is over clocked to 401 MHz core and 1.10 GHz ram was 418 core and 1.15 ram but was getting to hot backed it off a little.
Temps are holding at 46C normal 60C exstreme stress with air cool only.

Verto I was stupid when I bought that I know.
Nothing wrong with the PNY card......

Also a little update I changed some cooling and im at 2.67 GHz now FSB 243 x11 air cooling only temps are 45c normal use . 57c exstreme stress
ram is now overlocked to pc 3900 and made some new tweeks to timings.
You can punch the 3500 higher if you knock the HT down to 1.6GHz :)
