Over clocking?

Hello everyone,
I am doing my gaming build today and i have a few questions...

1. If I am going to overclock what temp should i be trying to keep my cpu at, and what program will monitor my cpu temp?? ( I have a amd phenom 2 x4 3.4 ghz) I will also be using a Zalman cnps9700 NT cpu cooler, and artic silver 5

2. should i overclock using the software that comes with my mother board its called Turbo V i have a m4n82 deluxe mobo

3. whats the best way to oc my 800 mhz ram to 900 safely! the timming will be 5-5-5-15 on them i think

Please notice the reason i want to do things like go from 800 mhz to 900 mhz is because im not trying to max all the overclocking i can out the butt... I want a clean, cool, and healthy pc with things just a tad overclocked..

4. if i use turbo v will it overclock the cpu, and ram? or does ram need to be done in bios.
Thank you

1. the max temp for amd PII's is 60c, so try to get it to never go over 55c, just to be safe

2. i would use AMD OVERDRIVE. it is really good, and easier than doing it through the bios

3. not sure

4. im pretty sure you can adjust the ram with amd overdrive

Is amd overdrive going to overclock everything? like if i click auto clock? and if i click auto clock is that dangerous cause i want everything to still run low temps

Amd overdrive will overclock, i wouldn't do the auto clocking thing, i would do it manually, so you have control over your overclock.

Do you have the Phenom II X4 965 c2 or the c3..

Edit:
1. I would never exceed 60c as 62c is the max.. mid 50's would be more suitable but the lower the better.. as far as temps there are several programs but AMD Overdrive and Everest have always given me accurate temps..
2. I would use the bios for overclocking...
3. Do not know what brand ram you have...?? sometimes you can run ddr800 at 1066 with volt increase.. safely... depends on your ram..
4. I would use the bios for overclocking both...
