Is this a fairly good overclock for my 8400GS?
I used ntune along with my cpu overclock.
Heres what ntune shows...
Core:559mhz
Mem:327mhz
shader:1427mhz
When i try to raise my memory clock with everything else stock once i reach about 345, its starts to get little spots in the screen, so that means i did it too much right?
So i just kept overclocking the core and shader...
Should i decrease the shader to increase the core? Im a beginner at all of this...
Overall i am very happy with this, now low-end card, in COD4 i can play on 800/600 and have everything on high and get 28-35FPS vs. 24, and with everything on low @ 1650/1050 i get an average of 25FPS vs. 18...
And in crysis, with everything on low, before the overclock i got a stady 10FPS, after the overclock, i now get 16 which is a lot more playable...
So i am pretty happy with the results...
