Overclock Asus 8800GT

Hey guys,

Title says it all,do you think i should overclock my GT? its at stock clocks atm but i heard they only go about 100mhz on the core from 600Mhz to 700Mhz so surely this is not realy any great gain?

my GT runs anything i throw at it no problems and it always looks great at 1680x1050 its still a winner in my heart!

i dont realy plan on upgrading it anytime soon just because there is no need to yet.

what you think i should do?

It sounds to me like you don't need to oc it at all. I think the real question is do you want to overclock for the extra fps in the games that you play? or Are you happy with how your gpu is currently performing?

I say if there is no need or will to overclock then why overclock?

Anyways if i had that gpu in my system i wouldn't oc it unless i was getting under 30fps for the games that i play.
