***can this be "bumped up " (overclocked) a bit to maybe 3.5ghz without any significant ill effects?...i have already installed 2 additional fans in the case for the stock system. if so, what would be the best way to do it and WHAT would need to be bumped up?...thanks again.

The processor itself probably could be overclocked to 3.5ghz just fine. However, you've got it in a Dell, so no. Dell's have thier BIOS locked, so you can't change any of those settings. In order to OC, you'd need to buy another mobo, and pretty much rebuild the computer. However, that too wouldn't work most likely, because all of your Dell hardware probably wouldn't either be compatiable with the new mobo, or just plain wouldn't work (for various other reasons). So your options are this: not touch it, or buy a new computer.
