Hi guys, I have an i5-2500k on an asrock z77 MB. Also got a CM Hyper evo 212. I was just messing around the tuner thing that comes with the asrock drivers and it looks like I can overclock from there. Anyone have any advice or suggestions to what I should overclock it to and how to do so?

Never do it with software! Do it through BIOS, that's the only way. Software can get your system unstable.
Restart your pc, press del. Then you are in bios.

set all auto things on manual. Set your vcore locked on your stock voltage.
Then change the multiplier to 42. Try to reboot.
If you can run prime or oc higher.
If you can't, up the voltage a bit and try again.

I changedthe CPU ratio to all core, and then the all core to 42 from 33, is that right?

Sounds right... You can always check your frequency actually being driven up by checking softwares like CPU-Z, CoreTemp and RealTempGT. I think RealTempGT has the functionality where it stresses your CPU to measure your maximum frequency of your CPU.
