I just got given a Mac. (Yes, I know) It's an old blue and white (Yosemite) model. I am wondering if anyone has ever overclocked one of these and, if so, what did it take to do it? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
What do you think to accomplish with an overclock? It is too old and slow for an overclock to make much of a difference. I bet that thing would be great with old DOS games (I dunno if Mac supports DOS but an emulator should work if not.)
Not really but I wasn't exactly sure. I figured it didn't support it but wasn't sure. I know there are emulators though so technically it can support it. I've never actually used Mac OS since 3rd grade so I'm not very familiar with it anyway. Apple Computers released DOS 3.2 in 1979 so I thought it might support DOS but since Microsoft bought all DOS rights in 1981, I guess Apple removed support for it.
