Overclocking a Q6600 Kentfield 2.4 ghz G0 processor.. What kinda perfomance increase

Depends if you can get a 1ghz overclock. With a non-stock heatsink and probably a tiny voltage increase you would get better performance. A 1ghz overclock generally would be noticable i think, especially on a Core 2 Duo/Quad
 
well im at 3.3 atm and i can say its ALOT faster than when it was stock!...and i mean alot.

I suggest you get a good aftermarket cooler,Apply some AS5,,,make sure you get the most out of your cooling system by re-arranging systems fans etc.

also i have the Antec 900 case and as of right now my temps r running at minimal load between 32 and 40 degrees ... i think this machine will overclock very nicely..
